Princess and the Frog Album Review

Princess and the Frog Album
Walt Disney Records
Produced by Chuck Harmony and Co-produced by Ne-Yo

The Princess and the Frog album is the soundtrack from the Disney's Princess and the Frog movie. I have not seen the movie, but I suggest you do before listening to the album. My favorite songs are "Never Knew I needed" by Ne-Yo,"Dig a little deeper" by Jenifer Lewis and the Pinnacle gospel choir. The overall theme of the music is jazz, big band and blues.Pros : some upbeat songs, unique sound, great singing Cons: I didn't really like the score songs and wish they would have just been in the movie not the album. They don't make sense unless you've seen the movie.I don't usually like jazz type music But I did like this album.

The Vicious Kind Movie Review

Every so often, we see a film at Sundance that shows us actors we had previously dismissed in a wondrous new light — like when 2007’s Smiley Face made us completely reconsider our opinion of Anna Faris. One of the main contenders for this year’s where-the-hell-did-that-performance-come-from? award is Brittany Snow — yes, the chick from Prom Night — who pretty much takes over Lee Toland Krieger’s twisted family drama The Vicious Kind, and never looks back.

The film is about a young man (Alex Frost) bringing his girlfriend (guess who) back home for Thanksgiving, and the chaos that erupts when his wiseass older brother (Adam Scott), reeling from a breakup of his own, becomes fascinated with her. As the raven-haired object of desire, Snow has to convey an impossible variety of impressions: Is she the conniving and adulterous vixen the older brother claims she is (and secretly wants her to be)? Or the angelic beauty the younger brother thinks he knows? And what does her character even think of all this attention? And yet, for all that, it’s a relatively understated performance: Snow manages to display all this range without ever seeming showy — we can see how one ordinary person can give off completely different vibes to different people. And we can’t take our eyes off her. Good job, Brittany Snow.

Lesley Roy Unbeautiful Album Review

Lesley Roy is from Balbriggan in Dublin, Ireland. She is signed with Religion Music and is licensed with Jive Records. Her song I'm Gone I'm Going is the theme song for the MTV show Exiled and has been on a episode of the Hills. I am not a big fan of slow songs but I did like "Make it Back".This song is about wanting a ex boyfriend back. Some of my favorite songs are I'm Gone I'm Going ,Here For you Now and Misfit.Because these were upbeat.I did not like this album very much because of the mostly slow songs and it being alot about relationships. I recommend this album for people who like Melissa Etheridge or Delta Goodrem.

Pros - rock/pop genre,a few fast songs

Cons - slow songs,unrelatable,boring

I give this album ** two out of five stars.
