Hilary looks beautiful in blue 3.1 Philip Lim at the third annual Loveday celebration and Cartier Love Charity Bracelet launch held at a private residence on Wednesday in Los Angeles.She was accompanied on the red carpet by hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie of the New York Islanders. She also wore black glossy “Genie” Jimmy Choo shoes.

At the event, Cartier announced the launch of a new LOVECHARITY bracelet and accompanying ambassadors. Cartier chose a music theme for this year’s LOVE celebration. The new group of prominent music ambassadors to join the 2008 endeavor included Duff for charity Blessings in a Backpack, which will be represented by a deep plum bracelet. The LOVECHARITY bracelet is available for $995 at Cartier boutiques nationwide with $200 per bracelet benefiting its corresponding charity. On LOVEDAY, June 19th, 10% of all sales from the entire LOVE collection will benefit the partnered organizations.

Rihanna at the "Cartier Love Day” Lighting Ceremony

Rihanna hosts the third annual “Cartier Love Day” Lighting Ceremony at New York City’s Empire State Building on Thursday afternoon.


She hosted the swank event alongside CEO and President of Cartier North America Frederic de Narp. To mark the date, Rihanna helped turn the famous skyline festive Cartier red. (Notice the on/off switch!)

“Cartier is thrilled to have the support of such inspirational celebrities that have joined together to raise awareness for important charitable causes,” said Narp. “This year Cartier is launching a new LOVECHARITY bracelet to commemorate the arts as a part of our philanthropic mission.”
